Submit solution files in .docx format only

You may have received email about using .docx format of word files for solution authoring. In our present guidelines we give preference to .docx files but now we're making it mandatory. From April 1, 2013, solutions files with .docx only will be accepted.

What is .doc and .docx format?

.doc and .docx is an extension of file format used in MS-word files. All MS-office versions can save files in .doc format but for .docx format, you need Office 2007 or higher version.

Still using older version of MS-Office, what to do?

This is the right time to upgrade your system with MS-office 2007 or higher version. Keeping latest software always helps you.
